Karen is a dedicated and clinical Behaviour Analyst who serves as a trusted partner for families navigating the complexities of child development. Highly regarded for her collaborative approach, she consistently receives strong recognition and positive feedback from both parents and educators for her ability to build seamless, supportive bridges between home and school environments.
Grounded in her clinical training as both a Behaviour Analyst (BCBA, IBA) and a Registered Social Worker, Karen’s therapeutic philosophy is built on three core pillars:
Observe: Carefully analyzing behavioural and developmental patterns to understand each child's unique needs.
Listen: Deeply hearing the lived experiences and goals of parents to build a unified approach.
Connect: Establishing a playful, trust-based bond with children to make learning a joyful, natural process.
By bridging rigorous behavioral science with a compassionate, holistic perspective, Karen specializes in crafting highly individualized programs. Her scope of service includes naturalistic 1:1 home-based training, active school shadowing, and social skills group classes that utilize play-based and boardgame-facilitated methodologies. Karen believes that sustainable progress relies on supporting the child's entire caregiving ecosystem; to this end, she provides comprehensive training and clinical supervision to parents, educators, and fellow behavioural interventionists. By equipping the broader caregiving team with practical behavioral strategies and ongoing, high-quality guidance, she ensures consistency and empowers children to thrive confidently in their everyday environments.
