  • Dr. Ip is a registered psychologist with the Hong Kong Psychological Society, and a registered psychotherapist with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. She has lived and studied in various parts of the world, including Canada, Thailand, U.K. and Chicago before returning to Hong Kong in 2013. She has extensive experience working in schools and providing counseling services and workshops for children and adolescents both in the U.S. and Hong Kong. She has further received ABA therapy training specialized in helping children with Autism to enhance their social skills and reduce behavioral issues.

  • Dr. Ip specializes in working with children, adolescents, and adults with a variety of issues. She believes in the power of working together in finding what works best for you. Depending on unique needs of every individual, she uses approaches including Client-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Gestalt Therapy, along with a variety of play therapy approaches for younger children. Her international experience has led her to believe in the importance of acknowledging different cultures and different perspectives. Everyone has unique challenges and her goal is to help clients build a stronger understanding of themselves.
